Pelleting Machines
A pelleting machine (or pellet mill) is a device that compresses powdered raw materials—such as animal-feed mash, sawdust, crop residues, or biomass—into dense, uniform pellets. These machines come mainly in two types: flat-die models for small-scale or farm-level use, and ring-die models for high-capacity industrial production. When choosing a pelleting machine, key factors include capacity (kg/hr or tonnes/hr), motor power, pellet size, raw-material type, moisture requirements, energy consumption, and availability of spare parts. They are widely used in poultry and cattle-feed manufacturing, biomass fuel production, and small rural enterprises because they improve handling, storage, and efficiency of feed or fuel. Costs range from low-power domestic units to large commercial plants, depending on scale and output needs.
